Our Camps

Our Programs include kids with a wide range of serious illnesses, including heart disease, cancer, cystic fibrosis, Chrohn’s disease, kidney failure, and much more. Whether newly diagnosed or many years into the journey, we invite you to become part of the Cavett Kids family.

We are proud to host the OLDEST KIDNEY CAMP IN THE NATION, along with many other camps that offer support, encouragement, and belonging to children with life-threatening illnesses.

Ski Camp

This camp is our second oldest camp, beginning in 1980. Every spring, Ski Camp hosts 20 teenage cancer patients in Winter Park, Colorado for a week of skiing, fun in the snow and memories to last a lifetime.

Thanks to our partnership with the NSCD (National Sports Center for the Disabled), one of the largest therapeutic recreational agencies in the world, campers can enjoy the slopes no matter where they are along their treatment plan!

 Camp Cavett

Camp Cavett is by far our biggest camp, weighing in with 200+ campers and 150 volunteers!

After two successful camps under his belt, our founder Mr. Danny Cavett, dreamed of joining all pediatric patients battling chronic and life-threatening illnesses together to learn from each other. And from there, Camp Cavett was born!

Since the early 90’s we have gathered every summer at the beautiful Lake Texoma for a week of fun in the sun! Today, this camp is now our largest camp hosting over 200+ campers and 150+ volunteers each year.
