Brookshire Scholarship for the Cavett Kids Foundation
Must be a young person who has experienced a life-threatening and/or chronic illness.
Must be a camper who has attended at least one of Cavett Kids’ various camps (Ski Camp, Beach Camp, Heart Camp, Camp Cavett or Kamp Courage)
Must be classified as a high school senior who is eligible to graduate at the end ofthe current academic year, or a continuing student of an institution of higher education.
Possesses a minimum grade point average of 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale) at the secondary or higher education level.
Scholarship Award Details
Two (2) scholarships in the amount of $1,000.00 each will be awarded annually to qualified applicants and will be paid directly towards the recipient’s tuition.
Recipients shall only receive one (1) award (Brookshire Scholarship) per school year.
Funds, as awarded, shall be used for tuition at any institution of higher learning, (i.e. two (2) or four (4) year college).

Must be typed or legibly printed in black ink.
Include date of graduation from High School.
Include a five hundred-word essay on “What Camp Means to Me.” e. Include documented SAT/ACT scores.

The scholarship check will not be presented unless the applicant selected has provided a copy of his or her high school diploma/official transcript and/or college transcript with G.P.A. and documentation of enrollment in an accredited two (2) or four (4) year college.
